Virginia Surveillance Force provides professionally trained Special Police Officers (SPOs) for clients who require enhanced security, authorized enforcement authority, and a stronger on-site security presence. Our officers serve commercial properties, government facilities, healthcare facilities, diplomatic locations, and other high-security environments throughout Maryland and Washington, DC. In Virginia, VSF provides Special Conservators of the Peace (SCOPs) as authorized by applicable Virginia law.
Special Police Officers provide more than a visible security presence. Where authorized by law and their specific commission or appointment, they may exercise applicable arrest and law-enforcement powers on designated client property.
Our officers receive specialized training in defensive tactics, emergency response, de-escalation, firearms, applicable laws, incident response, and professional security procedures, as required for their assignments.
